The Oat - The Oat is the Sidwell Upper School's premier humor publication. New issues come out approximately 8 times per school year. To purchase an advertisement or a subscription, please see the appropriate page on our website or email us at theoatpaper@gmail.com. Submissions and donations are welcome.
Quarterly
Quarterly is Sidwell’s literary-arts magazine, published four times a year. Poems, stories, meditations, drawings and photographs written, done and taken by students (and teachers) decorate the pages of this magazine. Quarterly staff members gather to discuss the submissions for each issue, each of which is considered anonymously. Submissions from anyone in the Sidwell Upper School community can be sent to sfsquarterly@gmail.com, and art can be given to Rachel Reeves (rreeves08@sidwell.edu).
You can subscribe to Quarterly for $25, and issues will be sent in the mail. Your subscription helps pay for the publication costs of the magazine. Fill out this form for your subscription.
Further questions or comments can be sent to editors Sadie Lansdale (slansdale08@sidwell.edu) and LJ Kott (lkott08@sidwell.edu).

La Voz - Given the increasing importance of the Latino Diaspora both locally and nationally, the growing political, economic, cultural integration and interdependence in the Americas, and the substantial Latino population at Sidwell Friends, a group of students has decided to bring greater awareness of Latino cultures and current events to the Sidwell community by means of a bilingual student publication called La Voz.
